Fish Fish Bang Bang

Fish Fish Bang Bang is a videogame. Collect gems. Shoot fish. Rainbow stars!

What is Fish Fish Bang Bang?

Throughout July both myself and the uber lovely Farbs of Captain Forever, Fishie Fishie Fifty and Playpen battled to the death to make the best game from each others work over at Indie Kombat.

Controlled using a single button, help Fishie Fishie defend the universe from errant fish invaders determined to give him a hug. A deadly hug of poison fish love. Stop the hugs by blowing their fishy faces off with multicoloured lasers.

Fish Fish Bang Bang is based on characters created and owned by Farbs.

It is inspired by Bedlam and Llamasoft and chip shops.

Fish Fish Bang Bang is due for release sometime late 2012 and will be available for Mac & PC. It’s not finished yet but I’m absolutely, totally on the case.

New demo uploaded on October 31st. We’re getting there.

How to play

Your fish spins automatically. Your fish shoots automatically! We’ve taken care of all that for you. All you have to do is turn the fish. It’s that easy.

Scoring points isn’t quite so easy though. It’s all about timing your shots to perfection. Hold fire, release fire, score big. The closer the fish, the bigger the score.

Can you get the biggest score ever? Go on, give it a try.

If you can’t be bothered raising your hand to press a button a few times, then take your hands off the keyboard. The game plays itself. It’s the future, today!

You won’t score anything of worth and it’ll be really, really boring but you’ve got to admit, it’s novel!

System Requirements

Not a lot! Honest. You’ll need a fairly recent graphics card to run it and one capable of Direct X 8, so nothing too major. The demo version does push round an awful lot of pretty pictures though but the best way to find out if you can run it is to give it a try. Let me know if you struggle, I can’t promise anything but hey, I’m here to help so you never know.
